INTERSOUND receives license to manufacture hearing aids
InterSound, a Kazakh manufacturer of rehabilitation equipment for people with hearing impairments, has received a license to engage in pharmaceutical activities. Document number 23000053 dated 09/05/2023 gives, in particular, the right to manufacture medical products.
Let us recall that a hearing aid is an electronic sound-amplifying device used for medical reasons for various forms of persistent hearing loss. Unlike sound amplifiers, the device is a medical product that is individually adjusted and compensates for the hearing loss of a specific person, in accordance with audiometry data, while preserving residual hearing and not damaging it.
